Apple MacBook pro Air Vulnerability unleashed
Apple is always known for its robust security, with its OSX operating system. few months back a team of researchers from Independent Security Evaluators (ISE) were able to hack a MacBook pro Air in less then two minutes with undiscovered vulnerability in Apple’s safari browser.
In that competition there were 3 notebooks, with an Apple Macbook Air with OS X 10.5.2, a Sony Vaio VGN-TZ37CN with Ubuntu 7.10 and a Fujitsu U810 with Vista Ultimate SP1.
The people who managed ths HACK were ISE securty researcher - Charlie Miller, Jake Honoroff, and Mark Daniel – who were participated in PWN to OWN competition at CanSecWest security conference, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
so one should think twice before buying apple macbook claiming for thier robust security
